Rebecca Rizzo, wife of SJSS Founder and Technical Director Bill Rizzo, has been identified through the Delete Blood Cancer DKMS Organization as a match for a patient in need and has undergone the initial steps to fulfill her commitment to save a life.Rebecca agreed to have the inner lining of her mouth swabbed prior to the Union v. Chivas USA match back in 2011 on the pavilion of PPL Park. As a result of doing so, the organization was able to identify a patient that shared
similar DNA to Rebecca. Rebecca has undergone the initial bloodwork and is waiting to hear back from the patient's team of physicians and the Delete Blood Cancer DKMS Organization on the next steps in the process. Please help us in recognizing Rebecca for being a life saver to someone in need and an inspiraiton to us all.

Marlton U12 Girls Crush win top flight of 2013 matchfit invitational (4/7/13)
The Marlton U12G Crush coached by SJSS Technical Director Bill Rizzo went 3-0-1 en route to being crowned champion of top flight of the 2013 MatchFit Invitational Tournament. The tournament pushed the players to the limit as they faced the 11th ranked team from Connecticut (0-0 draw,) the 20th ranked team from New Jersey (3-0 win,) and in the championship final perserved to win a thrilling 3-2 match versus 14th ranked team from Massachusetts (Aztec Soccer Red Devils.) The Crush went up in the match with an early goal. The Red Devils came storming back with 2 unaswered goals to move ahead in the match. The Crush continued to fight and were awarded a free kick 30 yards from goal. After a smashing free kick the match was level. With five minutes remaining in regulation The Crush were able to tuck home the go ahead goal which proved to be the game winner. Congrats to the ladies for their work rate, belief in each other, and execution of the game plan.

of mercer Football club (3/1/13)
SJSS Technical Director Bill Rizzo has been hired to oversee the grassroots premier level soccer club Mercer F.C. As a result of this move which will be in a full time capacity, Bill had to resign from his position as Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Rutgers University - Camden. SJSS will continue to provide training services (small group and individual) to dedicated players in the South Jersey area. As a result of this career move, Bill will have limited availability so please contact him as soon as possible if you would like to check his availability and schedule a session.

Marlton crush - U12 sjgsl premier division champions - fall 2012
The Marlton Crush won the under-12 girls Premier Division championship in the South Jersey Girls Soccer League, finishing with a 7-1-2 record.
